Fictionary Friday - Detract

So here are the rules. I will post a word and its definition. It will be a real word, and its real definition. But then I will create a fictionary definition for the same word, and invite you to do the same. Sound good? Good. Here we go:

Dictionary Definition:
Detract v. to draw away or divert; distract.

Fictionary Definition:
Detract adj. pertaining to a train that is out of service.

1 comment:

  1. Detract adj. a style of architecture that developed in opposition to Tract housing (also known as cookie-cutter housing). Detract housing demands that each house in a development be absolutely unique and unlike the homes that surround it.
